The blonde and the bank manager

A well-dressed blonde drove up outside a bank near Heathrow, stepped out of her brand-new Ferrari, walked in and asked to speak to the manager.

She explained to him that she had just driven down from her home in Birmingham to catch a flight for a business trip to the Far East. But she had left without her credit card cards and needed a loan of £5,000 before her flight left in half an hour.

The bank manager replied that they would have to have some form of security before agreeing to a loan, so the blonde pointed to her new Ferrari parked outside. The manager gave his approval, the blonde handed over the car keys and she left with the cash for her business trip.

The manager drove her car in the bank's underground car park and everyone had a huge laugh at the expense of the blonde, for using her £250,000 Ferrari as security against a £5,000 loan.

Two weeks later the blonde returns, repays the £5,000, plus £15.41 in interest, and asks for her car keys.

The manager says to her, "Your car is safe, but while you were away we checked up, and found that you are actually a millionairess. Why did you bother to borrow £5,000 when you had the money in your bank account all the time?"

“Where else can I park my new car so close to Heathrow for two weeks and expect it to be there when I get back,” the blonde replies, “and all for only £15.41?"
