A man walked into a restaurant . . . .
A man parked his car and walked into a restaurant for a meal, wearing a shirt with an open-neck collar. The manager came straight over to him and warned there was a strict dress code and that he'd have to wear a tie in order to eat there.
The man went back to his car to find his tie. He looked in the glove compartment and everywhere. Then, on the floor behind the driver’s seat, he saw a pair of jump leads. In desperation he put them round his neck, tied a Windsor knot and returned to the restaurant.
The manager came across, looked curiously at the jump leads tied round his collar, and said:
”Well, OK, I guess you can come in now. Just don't start anything."
